Objectives

This major cultivates talents with scientific humanistic quality, professional ethics, innovative spirit and practical ability with international vision, and master the basic theories and professional knowledge in the field of energy and power engineering. They have the ability of analyzing and solving problems, scientific thinking, teamwork, communication and constant learning. The trained talents are qualified for energy and power engineering and related fields of product development, engineering design, system operation and project management and other engineering technologies.

Requirements

1.Good grounding in both humanities and arts, and natural science, especially quality in humanities and arts;

2.A broad understanding of basic technical theory in energy and power engineering, including Engineering Mechanics, Theory and Design of Machines and Mechanisms, Electrotechnics and Electronics,Fluid Mechanics,Fundamental Control of Energy and Power Engineering

3.Having a good knowledge of fluid machinery, understanding the front and trend of development in this field;

4.Skills in drafting, calculating, test, investigating and study, literature searching, process and operating;

5.Ability to learn and use computers to solve problems in engineering;

Good quality of self-learning, analysis and innovative thinking.
