Research Interests
● Electrochemical Chemistry
● Electrode Materials and Electrolytes for Lithium-ion Batteries
● Electrode Materials and Electrolytes for Sodium-ion Batteries
● Electrolytes for Aqueous Zinc-ion Batteries

Research Techniques and Skills
● Experimental techniques: (a) Materials synthesis and preparation; (b) Electrode preparation; and (c) assembly of coin cells and pouch cells.
● Characterization techniques: Testing instrument operation, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for surface imaging, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) for chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD) for crystallographic information, thermogravimetric analysis (TG) for thermal stability, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) for heat flow and phase transition analysis, and infrared spectroscopy (IR) for molecular identification. Electrochemical measurement, which encompasses cyclic voltammetry (CV) for studying redox processes, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) for analyzing electrode-electrolyte interfaces, and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) for determining transport properties, and other normal electrochemical testing techniques et. al. Analysis of experimental data, involving data processing, curve fitting, and statistical analysis to draw meaningful conclusions from the obtained results.
