On the afternoon of November 23, the School held a teaching seminar entitled "Method Practice and Experience Exchange of Integrating Ideological and Political Elements into Classroom Teaching" in the smart classroom on the third floor. The activity was hosted by Weixing Xu, deputy director of the department of power. Ms. Mo Zhang, the backbone teacher of the national first-class course and political demonstration course, gave the lecture. The backbone teachers of each department, young teachers who were newly employed within three years, and Xinnan Song, the supervisor of the academic affairs office, participated in this event.

Combining the professional background of energy and power engineering, Ms. Zhang shared the methods and approaches on how to discover important ideological and political elements in the course and how to integrate ideological and political elements into classroom teaching. Meanwhile, Ms. Zhang also showed the teaching activity video of using the PBL model to guide students to conduct independent research during "Heat Transfer", and effectively integrating ideological and political elements into the flipped classroom. She then discussed with everyone how to use rich and colorful teaching activities to realize the organic integration of ideological and political elements and courses.

During the free exchange stage, the participating teachers spoke enthusiastically and raised their difficulties and questions in the process of ideological and political construction of the course. Ms. Zhang patiently gave answers and put forward constructive suggestions.

This teaching seminar has played a positive role in improving the teachers' awareness of ideological and political education in the curriculum, digging deeper into the ideological and political elements of teaching content, and enriching the forms and methods of ideological and political construction in the curriculum.
